The biking adventures of Mike & KK on the Lewis & Clark Trail from St Charles, Mo to Astoria ,OR in July/Aug, 2008. With other biking & traveling adventures.
A life-long cyclist,(over 254,000 miles!) Mike rode the entire Lewis and Clark trail, with support from his wife, KK. She rode too, but also shopped and scrapbooked. I usually ride about 10,000 miles a year so I was definitely in shape . I ended up riding over 2200 miles on the trip &; KK rode 620. What a great adventure!
The story we were told is that kids from many moons ago used to use the young tree as their swing & cause it to start bending! Isn't that cool? They are in their eighties now, how neat...
