Montana Mike.... & KK

Up at 7 am-Mountain Time!- & the two bikers were already gone, and the motorcyclists were a fixin' to leave..as for us, get the coffee goin' & cook the chorizo & hash browns. Then we hook up the camper, so KK can drive it later. Into town to mail some things & get KK some miles. I head out for Fort Peck dam, with the wind and it's pretty level. I had a flat, but fixed it quick and onto the downstream campgrounds at Fort Peck Lake..a massive, 136 mile-long lake with over a million acre feet of water. We get the last elecrical hookup in the park & it's a nice place, and only 7 bucks with our senior pass. KK calls Joan & chats for an hour...or so. Then we go off to the Interpretive Center at the lake & once again it's very nice, this time with a full size T-Rex & other exhibits and L&C stuff too. We watched a 30 minute movie on dinosaurs..so-so. Back to camp and get the bikes as there's nice trails in the park, where we saw a few deer running & eating . Hit the showers & go to dinner at the Historic Fort Peck Hotel..very good! Now the WIFI in their lobby..back to camp, where there's a BIG fishin' tourney tomorrow..that should wake us up pretty early. 71 miles & 1030 climb today..KK 21 miles.and, it was 102 today!!
