The biking adventures of Mike & KK on the Lewis & Clark Trail from St Charles, Mo to Astoria ,OR in July/Aug, 2008. With other biking & traveling adventures.
A life-long cyclist,(over 254,000 miles!) Mike rode the entire Lewis and Clark trail, with support from his wife, KK. She rode too, but also shopped and scrapbooked. I usually ride about 10,000 miles a year so I was definitely in shape . I ended up riding over 2200 miles on the trip &; KK rode 620. What a great adventure!
Yes, it reminds me of the Yough river up per Ohio Pyle 'n'at. Lovely -- love the pix, esp the one of the two of you in biking gear. Yenz is rolling along. All is well here but HOT. Grizz still has no a/c at work. I finished wallpaper removal and painting in the bedroom, and Grizz helped me reinstall the cornice boards/roman shades. It looks bee-yoo-tee-full!
Love the pic of the two of you guys. Where were you "at"? Looks like a high up place. Hope you're enjoying the cool temps. It's been between 103-106 here. Whew!
No rafting for us, we are way too old, ha! I can't describe the beauty, David, you must get Cami up here, you guys might not leave! Much better climate for Cam. Bet the room looks great! You're such a worker.. Fonda, we were on another rail to trail overlooking the river @ Great Falls, & they were great! I have fun doing rides like that.
