The biking adventures of Mike & KK on the Lewis & Clark Trail from St Charles, Mo to Astoria ,OR in July/Aug, 2008. With other biking & traveling adventures.
A life-long cyclist,(over 254,000 miles!) Mike rode the entire Lewis and Clark trail, with support from his wife, KK. She rode too, but also shopped and scrapbooked. I usually ride about 10,000 miles a year so I was definitely in shape . I ended up riding over 2200 miles on the trip &; KK rode 620. What a great adventure!
Nice pic Mikey. We're getting closer to time to leave for our trip. I can't wait. Glad to get away from the welfare dept and these hot temps. I'm havin' to repack with some long sleeve t-shirts cuz Colorado area where we'll be is havin' low 60's. Burrrrrrr........... Fonda
We got really cold last nite! I wanted to turn on the heater, but instead we got the old packing blanket out of the car & piled that on top of us! We're thinkng of using both sleeping bags as covers tonight.....Today, Wed, we had a fab time, and thought a lot of you two as we knew how you'd love it here as well as we. The Rockies are too beautiful to even think about, plus we saw all kinds of wild life, some really up close. Mostly big horn sheep mountain goats, a few deer, etc. One little goat was on the trail just rooting in the dirt! Eating roots maybe?

Enough of the low temp comments! You're going to start a temperature riot here.
We are just amazed how we've actually missed so much of the Aug. heat, love it. Today, Sat., it was 91, but no humidity, oops sorry.
