Hi Mike and KK:

I love the photo of the two of you in front of the camper. It appears that you are having a fabulous trip. What wonderful, deserted roads...just you and the prairie dogs!!

Where are you in relation to the Missouri River? Isn't that the river L&C navigated West? I would think that going from East to West, you would be against a prevailing wind!

When you stop in the small towns for a well-deserved meal, do you share with the local folk your journey? I would think they would be quite impressed, as am I!!!

We are enjoying riding with you vicariously. It's alot easier doing it vicariously!!

Be careful and thanks for the updates!

In the picture we were just moments away from Lake Oahe which is part of the Mo. river. We are weaving along with the river as the road & trail permit. It's a bit different than 200 yrs ago, of course, but we are staying pretty much on course. There are a few patches of gravel roads we've bypassed, ha.
Mike talks to everyone!! He stops 'em on the road if he has to! Tonight we're in Bismarck, ND. But it was a long & winding road to get here with few if any people along the way.
Glad your test is done & thanks for the comments
