Goodbye Mizzou

Finally, we're out of MO, and camping in Iowa..KK dropped me off in Council Bluff's , Ia and I rode 68 miles to Onawa, Ia, finishing in a light rain..it was a reasonably flat ride with the Loess hills to my right and the river bottom to the west. We just missed the massive start of RAGBRAI, in Missouri Valley, where 13,000 cyclists will start the annual ride accross Iowa on sat. oh well, next time...KK shopped a little and then motored up I-29 to our KOA spot and she set up all by herself!! Great job!! rain is in the forecast for the next two days, so we'll keep yinz posted..capt's louie & clark

KK rocks! Imagine what L&C could have accomplished if they had KK on their expedition!

Wish I could see a map that locates you each day, but it sounds like it's hard enough just to find wi-fi. Got the Amelia Earhart post card today -- loved it!:) It's 96 today, and I mowed the lawn before we leave for San Francisco tomorrow. The high there every day, as of now, will be 64 degrees. Ah, sweaters! Loved the googie and look forward to more of it (and more DQ reports). Love ya!
